ITER LITURGICUM

A brief post to suggest everybody interested in Sacred Music and Sacred Liturgy (also at the highest level) -and with a minimum knowledge of the Italian language- to vist the Iter Liturgicum Italicum by Prof. Giacomo Baroffio, former director of the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music in Rome, from the the website of the Faculty of Musicology of Pavia University, in Italy.

You will a find large, well updated collection of repertories mainly focused on codicology and liturgy (a small liturgical dictionary, a bibliographical collection of works about liturgical books, a list of liturgical calendars, a paper about readings for Easter Vigil, etc).

A special mention to a precious inventory of Italian liturgical manuscripts, and the Iter Liturgicum Ambrosianum with a full list of all manuscript sources of the Ambrosian Rite.
