Our friends from the annual Sacred Liturgy Conference have just added to their website pictures from the conference’s 10th edition, which took place from September 12–15 at the Co-Cathedral of St Patrick in Billings, Montana, and the church of St Anthony in Laurel. Videos and audio recordings of all the talks have also been made available. This year’s theme was, “The Holy Trinity in the Eucharist”, examining this most essential aspect of our faith from the perspective of history, Biblical studies, the Church Fathers and Marian theology. They keynote address was given by His Excellency Thomas Gullickson, former Apostolic Nuncio to Switzerland; the other faculty members include Msgr. Richard Huneger, Sr. Mary Regina, MSSR, Dr. Aaron Riches, Dr. Lynne Bissonnette-Pitre, Dr. Kevin Clarke, Dr. John O’Neill, Sr. Caritas Marie, MSSR, Fr. Ryan Erlenbush, Fr. Bart Stevens, Fr. 2022 Sacred Liturgy Conference in Billings, Montana, Sept. 12-15
Gregory DiPippoThe 10th annual Sacred Liturgy Conference will take place from September 12-15, in Billings and Laurel Montana. This year’s theme, “The Holy Trinity in the Eucharist”, will look at this most essential aspect of our faith from the perspective of history, Biblical studies, the Church Fathers and Marian theology. The distinguished faculty of scholars and clergy will also focus on how the Holy Eucharist through the Mass is the perfect worship of the Holy Trinity.
Bishop Michael Warfel of the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings in Montana will celebrate the opening Mass at the Co-Cathedral of St. Patrick and the remainder of the conference will take place at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Laurel, Montana.
The organizers are most grateful to also be joined this year by Archbishop Thomas E. Gullickson the former apostolic nuncio to Switzerland, who will deliver the keynote address and celebrate the Pontifical Mass of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross followed by a Eucharistic Procession with a relic of the Holy Cross.

Sacred Liturgy Conference, June 1-4, in Spokane, Washington
Gregory DiPippoSchola Cantus Angelorum is pleased to announce the 9th annual Sacred Liturgy Conference, which will be held from June 1-4, in Spokane, Washington. This year’s theme, “The Incarnation in the Holy Eucharist”, will illuminate the Incarnation as inseparable from the Cross, Resurrection, and the Holy Eucharist. The lectures will take place in the conference center of the Ruby River Hotel; four beautiful Gregorian liturgies, including one in the ancient Dominican Rite, will be celebrated at St. Aloysius Catholic Church and the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes.

In this day and age, to have a successful liturgical conference is already a great accomplishment; but to be announcing the eighth annual occurrence of it is something to boast about!
The Sacred Liturgy Conference has taken place at various locations in the Pacific Northwest for the past seven summers, under the auspices of the Schola Cantus Angelorum. This year, it will be held June 9-12 in Spokane, Washington, once again on the campus of Gonzaga University, St Aloysius Catholic Church, and the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes, where it was successfully hosted last year.

Last week, Dr. Tom Curran of My Catholic Faith Ministries interviewed Dr. Lynne Bissonnette, executive director of the Sacred Liturgy Conference, to discuss the origins of the conference, the gift of the Sacred Liturgy and the Incarnation. Registration is now open for the 7th annual Sacred Liturgy Conference, hosted this year by the Diocese of Spokane.
Schola Cantus Angelorum is pleased to announce the seventh annual Sacred Liturgy Conference, to be held in Spokane, Washington, from May 28 to 31, 2019. It will take place at the state-of-the-art Hemmingson Center on the campus of Gonzaga University. The liturgies will be held at the beautiful nearby churches of St Aloysius and the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes.

Faculty will include Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone, Bishop Thomas Daly, Bishop Robert Vasa, Msgr Andrew Wadsworth, Dr Peter Kwasniewski, Dr Nathan Schmiedicke, Msgr Richard Huneger, canon lawyer Magdalen Ross, Rev. Theodore Lange, Rev. Gabriel Mosher OP, Douglas Schneider, Alex Begin and Enzo Selvaggi. A special conference session will also include a pre-recorded interview with His Eminence Joseph Cardinal Zen from Hong Kong, China, on the current state of the liturgy in China.
There will be four beautiful Gregorian liturgies, including one celebrated in the ancient Dominican Rite. The highlight will be a Pontifical High Mass on the feast of the Ascension celebrated in the Extraordinary Form by Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone.
