Consecration of a New Russian Orthodox Cathedral in Magadan

From the blog, Byzantine, TX, I learned of the recent consecration of a new Russian Orthodox cathedral in the far eastern diocese of Magadan, the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity; it was consecrated by Cyril, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia. (During the course of the Divine Liturgy, a bishop was consecrated as well.) Here are a few photos which show the Divine Liturgy, but do take note of some of the splendid details of the new cathedral, which was begun 10 years ago apparently.
