Sacred Music Workshop at St Benedict Abbey in Massachusetts, October 16-18

Thanks to Abbot Mark of St Benedict Abbey for notifying me of this workshop. When I lived in nearby New Hampshire and taught at Thomas More College of Liberal Arts, I would regularly visit to participate in both Mass (in Latin) and the Liturgy of the Hours, often taking students with me. The abbey is situated in beautiful rural Massachusetts, an hour away from Boston and close to the small town of Harvard - which is not to be confused with the university!

The program focuses on Gregorian chant, but also includes sessions on organ improvisation on chant themes and polyphony. You can read the details of the event on the following Facebook page:
