Fr. Uwe Michael Lang Appointed to Pontifical Commission for the Cultural Patrimony of the Church

A few weeks ago, we received the good news that tradition-friendly, Benedictine Abbot of Pecos, Abbot Christopher Zielinski, was appointed by Pope Benedict XVI as Vice President of the Pontifical Commission for the Cultural Patrimony of the Church as well as the Pontifical Commission for Sacred Archeology as reported here .

Fr. Uwe Michael Lang of the London Oratory, author of the book Turning Towards the Lord, has just been appointed to the same Pontifical Commission for the Cultural Patrimony of the Church and will therefore be taking up a post working within the Roman Curia in the autumn of this year.

Needless to say, this is very good news indeed and is witness to the rebuilding that is going on within the Church.

The NLM wishes to congratulate Fr. Lang on his appointment and assures him of our continued prayerful support.
