A Wealth of Practical and Scholarly Articles in Sacred Music Journal

The editorial team of the CMAA’s journal Sacred Music is now at work on our 151st volume of the publication, having published our last issue, vol. 150, in mid-December. We are also very happy to have welcomed onto our regular editorial team Dr. Emily Thelen, an outstanding scholar and editor.
Four times yearly, Sacred Music publishes a wonderful collection of articles - excellent scholarship, essays on practical issues, and high-quality performing editions of rare and chestnut works for choir and organ. Our forthcoming Spring 2024 issue features several essays on Maurice Duruflé, in anticipation of our singing of the Duruflé Requiem at the 2024 CMAA Colloquium in Champaign, Illinois.
Membership in the Church Music Association includes a subscription to Sacred Music—with electronic access as soon as the physical copy goes off to the printers—as well as access to bookstore and events discounts, and numerous members-only continuing education events.
Join now so you don’t miss out on the upcoming issue.
