All Saints in Rome at Ss. Trinita

With so much attention having been on All Souls today, it seems we shouldn't forget that today is All Saints Day.

The good folks in Rome have put up the following photos from the Roman usus antiquior parish.

(If any of our reform of the reform parishes could also send in pictures of today's festivities as well as All Souls Day tomorrow, please do.)

Of course, one of the great benefits of Rome is there is no shortage of relics of the saints and no shortage of side altars upon which to display those relics for the veneration of the faithful. For the feast of All Saints, Ss. Trinita pulled out all its stores of relics and placed them upon the various side altars in the church -- festively decorated with lit candles and altar frontals.

A few selections.
