Candlemas at Mater Ecclesiae

I spoke a short while ago with the esteemed Fr. Robert Pasley, Knight of the Holy Sepulchre, and he reminded me of Mater Ecclesiae's Candlemas Mass and Procession, which will take place tomorrow at 10am. I presume this will be a High Mass. I won't be able to make it, but if any of you have more information, photos, etc., feel free to let me know.

How are your parishes marking Candlemas? Admittedly it's a bit more tricky this year with it being on a Saturday; nevertheless this is one holiday that I think could use a bit more emphasis in the liturgical life of parishes. Even when it falls on a Sunday, many places still skip the procession and just bless a few boxes of candles. I'm wondering if we can improve upon that....

Second question: For some there is a custom of keeping the Christmas tree up until February 2. How many of you have followed through with that? I left my little tree up this year; it's a great way to make January a little more cheerful.
