Bishop Athanasius Schneider at Assumption Grotto in Detroit

Many NLM readers will remember the name of Bishop Athanasius Schneider, who has been featured here on the NLM a few times for his writings and words promoting the traditional form of reception of holy communion upon the tongue.

Diane at Te Deum laudamus, a blogger from Assumption Grotto parish in Detroit, has informed the NLM that this same Bishop will be present in that Detroit parish to give two talks this coming Sunday, July 27th, following their noon Mass, one of which will be on his work on the Eucharist, Dominus Est.

The bishop celebrated Mass in the modern form at Assumption Grotto this past week, pictured to the right.
