Canons of St. John Cantius Launch Perpetual Mass Association for Living and Dead

The Canons Regular of St John Cantius informed the NLM this morning that they have launched a Perpetual Mass Association which will regularly offer Masses for the intentions of both the living and the dead according to the usus antiquior.

There is arguably a need today to recover within our general Catholic sensibilities, a keener awareness of the importance of prayers for the dead. Accordingly, the advent of associations as these is encouraging and to be encouraged.
