Offertory Verses for Your Schola

It's a great day when a treasure arrives in your inbox completely unannounced. So I hadn't even known that Richard Rice was working on a printable booklet of offertory verses that can be used in the new and old forms of the Roman Rite. Otherwise, you can only get them from the Offertoriale Triplex. Here they are all clean and beautiful and ready to sing this Sunday. The format is in a printable booklet. It's yet another great gift to the faith, courtesy of Richard and made available through the Church Music Association of America.

Everyone in the EF community knows about the Offertory. The OF community, however, can be forgiven for thinking that the offertory is the intermission. In fact, it has an antiphon, which can be found in the Graduale Romanum. Here are the Psalms that go with the antiphon.

Please consider a financial gift to the CMAA and joining their work. It is more than worth your support, given all that this institution is doing to support sacred music. There is no other source of funding.
