La Crosse Shrine Dedicated

I am on the road at present and unlikely to have time to cover this in depth before sometime early next week, but Fr. Zuhlsdorf has a nice little entry with some stunning photos of the new shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe at La Crosse, Wisconsin, which was officially dedicated last Thursday as part of a week-long round of festivities. I understand the mass, celebrated by Archbishop Burke, was also quite splendid, though I'd enjoy any further particulars our readers can provide on the subject.

We can have beautiful churches today, but only if we have the vision, erudition and drive to make it happen. This is not the end but only the beginning.
