Cardinal Bartolucci to Celebrate Usus Antiquior Mass at Ssma Trinità


Rome's personal parish for the Extrraordinary Form, Ss.ma Trinità dei Pellegrini, is holding a novena for the Immaculate Conception. Every day of the novena, there is Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 5:45 p.m., Rosary, chanted litany, the novena prayer, the Tota Pulchra and Benediction, followed by Holy Mass at 6:30 p.m.

On the feast day itself, in addition to Masses at 9 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., the main Mass at 10:30 a.m. will be celebrated by His Eminence Domenico Cardinal Bartolucci, the former maestro of the Sistine Chapel, who was elevated to the sacred purple at the recent Consistory. There also will be Sung Vespers and Benediction at 5:30 p.m.
