New Director for the Sistine Chapel

The choice is Dom Massimo Palombella, director of the Inter-University Choir of Rome and a specialist in chant and the full range of polyphonic sacred music. The blog linked above is critical of the choice. I have no basis for making any judgment on this choice at all, except to observe that many people have written about the need for a shakeup.
