Christmas 2023 Photopost (Part 3)

This is our final photopost for liturgies celebrated within the calendar year 2023, so I want to reiterate to all our contributors past and present how grateful we are to you for sharing these beautiful images with us. We will start in on the Epiphany next week, so there is still plenty of time to send your pictures in to As always, we are glad to include both the EF and OF, as well as the Ordinariate or Eastern liturgies, and ceremonies such as the blessing of water or chalk. In keeping with the common Italian custom, the statue of the Christ Child is escorted from the altar of the sacristy to the main altar by members of the church’s confraternity, and then presented to the faithful for veneration before the beginning of the Midnight Mass.
