Primate of Belgium's Pontifical Mass

Yesterday, Sunday January 30th, 2011, H.E. Most Rev. André-Joseph Léonard, Archbishop of Brussels and Primate of Belgium, celebrated a Pontifical Mass in the usus antiquior in Brussel's Minim Church, where he recently erected a new apostolate of the FSSP. According to a first report in the Belgian paper De Standaard, the Mass was attended by about 500 faithful. Fr Berg, the Superior General of the FSSP, was also present. This is the first Mass according to the liturgical books of 1962 publicly celebrated by a Primate of Belgium in over forty years. More photographs may be posted if and when they become available.
