The rich liturgical environment of the Catholic Institute of Sacred Music immerses students in the Church’s treasury of sacred music – Gregorian chant and sacred polyphony – in the context of the sung celebration of the Roman rite (both usus antiquior and usus recentior). Summer coursework is anchored by sung Mass and Vespers, and features a robust classroom exposition of the theology, history, and practical application of the Church's music. The beautiful campus and world-class teachers invite students to grow deeper in their faith, gain intellectual wisdom, and develop as singers, players, conductors, and teachers of sacred music who build vibrant parish and school programs to hand on sacred music to their communities.
