Back in November 2023, I announced a wonderful new resource: a booklet, Sanctissimum Rosarium in Cantu, that sets the Latin prayers of the Rosary to Gregorian chant psalm tones, in order to make the chanting of it very easy to do. All that would be needed for a chanted Rosary—the Apostles’ Creed, the announcing of the mysteries, the Pater Noster, the Ave Maria, the Gloria Patri, the Salve Regina (simple, solemn, monastic), and the prayer after the Rosary—was included.
The reception was overwhelming. Many found it ideal for long hikes or pilgrimages, a rosary rally, or even the long drive to Mass on Sunday, where the additional time involved in singing the prayers would not feel out of place, as it might in a standard group or individual recitation.
However, certain readers contacted the publisher and suggested a larger selection of chants. We listened carefully to the "wish lists," and got to work!
Our newly-released second edition—a conveniently-sized 5" x 7" book with a new cover—has more than twice the content, including:

Our newly-released second edition—a conveniently-sized 5" x 7" book with a new cover—has more than twice the content, including:
- 2 settings of the Apostles' Creed
- Latin announcements for the 15 traditional mysteries
- Psalm-tones for the prayers in all 8 modes plus the Tonus peregrinus and Tonus in directum
- Four settings of the Salve Regina (simple, solemn, monastic, and Dominican)
- Gregorian antiphons for each of the 15 mysteries, as an alternative way to announce them and to establish the psalm tone to be used, for variety's sake
- The Hymn from the Divine Office on the Feast of the Most Holy Rosary
- The Litany of Loreto in chant
- Various additional tones for the Pater Noster, the Hail Mary, and the Gloria Patri (include the "Chartres Ave Maria")
- The Fatima prayer in three different Latin versions, set to all 8 psalm tones (thus completing what is necessary for a COMPLETELY SUNG Rosary!)
