This year commemorates the 100th anniversary of the establishment of this feast by Pope Pius XI with his encyclical Quas primas. As the titular feast of the Institute of Christ the King, St Francis de Sales Oratory in St Louis, Missouri, honors this grand feast with its annual Music Festival, bringing musicians from far and wide to sing and play for the King. In collaboration with Oratorio, a non-profit which promotes revitalization of the urban area through music, the church we will host ensembles like the St Louis Symphony Orchestra, Floriani, and more, over the weekend of October 24-26.
