Letter to NLM

We often receive letters from our readers here at NLM, and I thought I would take a moment to share one that we recently received, which also came with some photos. Needless to say, it is always encouraging to hear these things.

I am the parochial vicar of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Paris, TX, Diocese of Tyler. I have been a priest for almost a year and a half. Every Sunday at midday I offer the Holy Mass (OF) in Spanish. Thanks to your encouragement on the NLM website, and what I have learned in seminary, for the past 6 months I have been offering the Holy Mass exclusively "ad orientem." You might also be interested in knowing that we usually (not exclusively) chant the Kyrie, Sanctus, and Agnus Dei in Greek / Latin.

En Cristo,
Fr. Gabriel-Maisonet
