Two Gregorian Concerts in Washington, this weekend

This event comes as a real surprise. I can't imagine how anyone could miss either, if you live anywhere near Washington. The group is the Gregorian choir attached to La Maison Française.

The texts are “Scènes Mariales” read by their author, Father Marcel Guillet -- priest of the Solesmes Abbey parish -- and by filmmaker Jean-Luc Solal. The music includes Gregorian chants, as well as Monteverdi, Vivaldi, Palestrina, Caccini and Fauré. The
organist is Monique Poirier
