Dominican Rite Mass in Seattle WA

I have received word that, as part of the Centennial Celebrations of Blessed Sacrament Priory and Parish in Seattle WA, there will be celebrated at 7 p.m. on August 8, 2008, a sung Votive Mass of St. Dominic according to the Traditional Dominican Rite in the parish church. The Mass will be celebrated on the modern date of the Solemnity of St. Dominic as part of the festivities of that day. Blessed Sacrament Church is located at: 5041 Ninth Avenue N.E., Seattle WA 98105.

I believe that this will be a Solemn Mass, as has been common at such anniversary celebrations in the Western Province in the past. I am sure that readers in the Seattle area will be interested in attending, so I am posting this early. When I receive more information on the music and ceremonies, I will let you all know.
