Summer Organ Recitals at the National Shrine in Washington

I've been meaning to post this for awhile, but better late than never. Each summer, the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC hosts a series of organ recitals which take place each Sunday evening. More information can be found here. Note that the July and August recitals will take place on the wonderful Schudi organ in the crypt church in celebration of the 20th anniversary of its installment.

It is really worth the effort to try to get to one of these recitals. You can even make your Mass obligation at 4:30pm, right before the recitals begin. Spend a day in Washington.
