Coming forth from the Advent I Vespers this past Saturday evening in St. Peter's Basilica, there is evidently a great deal of interest in how the Pope's throne was put back up onto five steps, as well as the new Roman style cope with the Pope's coat of arms that was used for the occasion.
There was further interest in the participation of the St. Michael's Norbertines and two of the Canons Regular of the New Jerusalem.
If you would like to see more photos of this event, including many of the cope (including its back hood, which is quite stunning, as well as the coat of arms) along with the throne and other such features, please go here.
