New (and Free) Catholic music on the web

It's striking and exciting how Jeffrey Ostrowski's Chabanel Psalms site is evolving into a portal for every kind of new composition for use in OF and EF Masses. Here, for example, is a page for Year A. You can find Jeffrey's work, but also work by Justin Berg, Sam Schmitt, and Arlene Oost-Zinner.

On the wedding page, you can find Jeffrey's work and also settings by Peter Kwasniewski. The spirit of great generosity is in display here--think of it: a composer's site who is happy to publish settings by other composers--driven by the burning desire to see liturgy improve. I know for a fact that many parishes are now using these, since they are so superior to the settings found in the missalettes. Jeffrey explains the rationale behind his innovative approach in the Winter issue of Sacred Music.
