News from the Archdiocese of Chicago

The Archdiocesan newspaper of Chicago, Catholic New World has an article up this month: Greater use of Tridentine Mass may ‘promote unity’

It is also reported by these Chicagoians that aside from the numerous places the ancient form of the Roman rite is offered, expansion is occurring since the motu proprio, and the following parishes have now begun offering Mass in the Extraordinary form:

St. Odilo Parish
Solemn Masses are scheduled for November.

St. Mary of Perpetual Help Parish, Sundays at 8:30 a.m..
See: Nov. 11th Bulletin

St. Lambert Parish now offers this form of the Mass on an occasional basis.

Apparently other priests in this archdiocese are now in the process of receiving liturgical training for the ancient forms of the Mass and ritual.
