Judge of the Roman Rota to celebrate EF Mass at the Cattolica

Our readers may remember that, last November, we reported about the celebration of the EF Roman Rite Mass at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan made regular.
Since then, the Mass has been celebrated every third Monday by different priests in charge of the pastoral care of the students at the "Cattolica".

It is now a honour and a pleasure to me to announce to our readership that, next monday, the Very Reverend Msgr. Giuseppe Sciacca, Prelate Auditor of the Apostolic Tribunal of the Roman Rota, will be the celebrant of the EF Mass.

Msgr. Sciacca, who is also a Consultor for the Congregation for the Clergy, and a Commissary for the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, for the Congregation for the Clergy, and for the Congregation of Divine Worship, is one of the highest ranking prelates of the Papal Household amongst those who don't have the episcopal dignity.

The Mass will be celebrated, according to the prescriptions of the Caeremoniale Episcoporum, as a so called "Pontifical low Mass", or "Messa Prelatizia", that is with all the distinction and the privileges proper of a Prelate of the Roman Curia.

Professors, students and faithful from Milan and outside are kindly invited to the sacred ceremony:
