The Usus Antiquior Archive: An Update

Further to the NLM project of collecting together some of the historical documents of the cause to preserve the usus antiquior in its earliest post-conciliar phases, a kind reader sent me a number of issues of the periodical Triumph, including the very first issues.

Triumph was a monthly periodical which began press in September 1966. The editors were Frederick Wilhemsen, Thomas Molnar, L. Brent Bozell and John Wisner.

It's quite interesting to see the names that appear on the articles there present, such as Josef Pieper and Dietrich von Hildebrand -- including, the latter's article, "The Case for the Latin Mass".

A sampling of a few of the covers of the very earliest issues:

Thanks again to the generous reader who dug them out of storage and donated them to this project.
