A couple of interesting bits of architecture

Old New York, architectural and royalist enthusiast, Andrew Cusack, has a couple of interesting posts up.

One is about Corpus Christi Church in New York, a rather interesting looking parish architecturally; he also includes some old liturgical photos from this parish. A splendid bit of Catholic architecture with a unique feel about it. Quite lovely as well is the triptych above the high altar.

Also of interest is the story of a rebuilding project of a 17th century Maryland Catholic Church which had been disassembled after public Catholic churches were banned.

The whole story, as well as pictures, can be found on Andrew Cusack`s blog under the title, The Church Resurgent.
