Calling All Chanters

I just can't get enough chant news, so it is great to read this excellent story from the Catholic Herald of Arlington, Virginia. The story is on the forthcoming Chant Pilgrimage at the National Shrine, September 25-26. It also points here for registration and information.

This year (through Nov. 20) marks the 50th anniversary since the dedication of the National Shrine, and participants in the chant conference, by traveling to the basilica, have the opportunity to gain a plenary indulgence granted by Pope Benedict XVI. Participants may also complete a novena in honor of the Immaculate Conception of Mary. The prayers should begin Sept. 18.
