Photopost Request: Corpus Christi 2022

Our next major photopost will be for the feast of Corpus Christi, whether celebrated tomorrow or on Sunday; please send your photos to photopost@newliturgicalmovement.org, and be sure to include the name and location of the church, and any other information you think important. As always, we are very glad to receive images of celebrations in both the Ordinary and Extraordinary Form, or the Ordinariate Use, as well as Vespers and other parts of the Office. Feel free to send in other events recently celebrated at your church such as Pentecost or first Masses, and keep up the good work of evangelizing through beauty!

Last year, after a bad lull due to the pandemic, we jumped from two posts in 2020 to four. As I have noted many times, the hardest part of doing photoposts is choosing among the many beautiful photos that are sent in; this also applies to the retrospective of the previous year’s posts which we always include with these requests. But I really had to single out once again this great picture from the first post last year of thuribles flying at the church of St Barnabas in Omaha, Nebraska.
And of course, it wouldn’t be Corpus Christi without flowers!
From the second post: the church of St Benedict in Ridgely, Maryland, celebrates its first Corpus Christi procession since the reform.

From the third post: Benediction during one of the stations of the procession at the Shrine of the Little Flower in Burrillville, Rhode Island, on its outdoor reproduction of the Scala Sancta in Rome.
From the fourth post: H.E. Abp Thomas Gullickson, retired Apostolic Nuncio to Switzerland and Lichtenstein, celebrates a Pontifical Mass and Procession at the church of St Aloysius Gonzaga in Spokane, Washington, as part of the Sacred Liturgy Conference. (Photo by Marc Salvatore.)
