Mosaic Floors of 1500 Year Old Church

Earlier this year a story was reported about the finding of the remains of a 1500 year old church in Hirbet Madras, Israel. What particularly struck me about the remains of the church were the incredibly beautiful mosaic floors. The mosaics include geometric patterns, grapes, lions, foxes, fish and peacocks.

Various marble columns were also found.
