The Proceedings of Sacra Liturgia 2013, now available

I have just been informed that the proceedings of the Sacra Liturgia 2013 conference, edited by Dom Alcuin Reid, are now available. The conference, which took place in Rome last summer was an inspiration for me and a source of much new information and insights (I just hope that they have included the question and answer sessions also, especially Archbishop Sample's responses). I cannot recommend it highly enough; and I don't say that just because our own Jeffrey Tucker gave one of the addresses!

At just over $17 from Amazon it is extraordinarily good value. The link to Amazon is here. This year Sacra Liturgia is organizing a summer school in France, details are on their new website www.sacraliturgia.org. I leave you with the words of Bishop Dominique Rey of Frejus-Toulon, France from his opening address: "The Sacred Liturgy is not a hobby for specialists. It is central to all our endeavors as disciples of Jesus Christ. This profound reality cannot be over emphasized. We must recognize the primacy of grace in our Christian life and work, and we must respect the reality that in this life the optimal encounter with Christ is in the Sacred Liturgy."
