It has been awhile since we have shown any historical photos coming within the context of the older form of the papal liturgy, and a reader recently sent in the following photo from the Fondo Giordani collection, which was taken in the Sistine Chapel on February 12, 1938, on the occasion of the sixteenth anniversary of the coronation of Pius XI.
