Corpus Christi 2023 Photopost (Part 1)

As always, we are very grateful to everyone who has shared with us photographs of their Corpus Christi liturgies. There will be at least one more post in this series, and there is always room for more, so you have plenty of time to send yours in to photopost@newliturgicalmovement.org. Please remember to include the name and location of the church, and any other information you think important. Keep up the good work of evangelizing through beauty!

St Aloysius Gonzaga – Oxford, England (Oratorian Fathers)
Each year since 2000, the Fathers of the Oratory have hosted the Corpus Christi procession for the city and University of Oxford. This year a record number attended, a vibrant and visible witness of faith and love of the Blessed Sacrament. Singing, reciting the rosary and carrying banners, parishioners, members of the university and visitors thronged the streets to accompany the monstrance. Members of the university in their gowns carried the canopy over the Blessed Sacrament, joined by priests and religious from across the city. A station with a sermon was held at Blackfriars – the Dominican house – and the procession concluded with Benediction at the University of Oxford Catholic Chaplaincy.
