Cardinal Burke to Take Possession of Titular Church of Sant'Agata dei Goti

I noted this in the latest VIS news service transmission (which you can subscribe to via email for those interested), but a reader wrote in to ask if we couldn't publish information about it. This was certainly no issue as it struck me as being of general interest, not only for those in the area of Rome who might like to attend, but also to much of our readership who take joy in following Cardinal Burke's ecclesiastical doings and career closely:

His Eminence Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke will take possession of his titular church, Sant'Agata dei Goti, on Saturday evening next. The ceremonies will begin at 6pm with Mass scheduled for 6.30. The church is located in via Mazzarino, 16, just behind the Angelicum.

St. Agatha's feast day will be on Saturday, February 5th of course (read more about some of the customs and traditions associated with her feast here). Here is a photo of Cardinal Burke's titular church:

If we are able to gain any photos of the joyous event, we will certainly publish them.
