EWTN usus antiquior programming

As many of you are already aware, on the Sept. 14th, the day the MP comes into legal effect, EWTN is airing a Solemn Mass, celebrated by the priests of the FSSP in their shrine church.

A reader sent me information also noting that in the days immediately leading up to this wonderful event, EWTN will be airing the following programming:

This is a recording of a High Easter Mass in Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Chicago in 1940. Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen narrates.

09/13/07 1:00 AM Gate of Heaven: The Solemn Consecration of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Oratory of the Immaculate Conception 1:00

This solemn consecration is performed by the Most Reverend Bishop of La Crosse, Raymond L. Burke, in three parts: (1) the purification and dedication of the Church; (2) the translocation of the relics; (3) the Consecration of the Church; and, (4) the Celebration of the first pontifical high mass in the newly consecrated Church. The traditional Latin rite is used for the Liturgy.
